Notion Free vs Plus is the step under this one. What Free gives, and when Plus earns the first paid plan. This page starts after that yes.
Notion pricing explained is the four-plan map: Free, Plus, Business, and Enterprise, plus who is billed. This page walks one step, Plus against Business, and stops.
Notion vs Airtable is which object you keep. Notion vs Superhuman Docs (formerly Coda) is a workspace of pages versus one living doc. Notion alternatives is stay or leave. This page starts after Notion is the product and the plan is the question.
When Notion automations are enough is Notion’s automation ceiling. This page quotes the Plus and Business cells on that row, then stops.
When free isn’t enough — trial, free plan, or first paid plan is the cross-tool cliff: Zapier Free, Make Free, the n8n Cloud trial, and n8n self-host. This page stays on Notion.
This page is the Plus vs Business step. When the Plus card is enough. When Business’s limits earn the price. Free and Enterprise prices are on the pricing page.
What Plus limits
These lines are the Plus card and the Plus column on Notion — pricing, accessed 2026-10-17. The currency control said Price in USD. On first load, Pay yearly was the checked control, at 16:21 America/Vancouver. Pay monthly is the other control, checked at 16:22 America/Vancouver. The limit words below did not change. The dollar in the Plus heading did.
For small teams and professionals to work together.
The Plus card says “Everything in Free, and:” and then lists a trial of Notion AI, custom forms, custom sites, unlimited charts, unlimited collaborative blocks, unlimited file uploads, and basic connections. Plus is listed at $10 per seat/month on the pricing page, last re-read on 2026-10-29. Check which billing control shows that price. Those are the Plus ceilings this page holds still. The cells Business moves are in the next section.
On the grid, Plus page history is 30 days. Notion Agent, Meeting notes, and Research mode are Limited Trial. Enterprise Search, verify any page, private teamspaces, dashboards, SAML single sign-on, and workspace PDF export are empty. Forms are Custom, without the conditional-logic line.
What Business unlocks
Read a row only where the pricing page printed a difference between Plus and Business. A blank on the 2026-10-17 read stays —. A check mark with no words is a mark, not a sentence. Both billing controls were checked. These limit words did not change. The dollar in the Business heading did.
For growing businesses to streamline teamwork.
The Business card says “Everything in Plus, and:” and then lists Notion Agent, AI Meeting Notes, Enterprise Search with a Beta mark, SAML SSO, granular database permissions, verify any page, private teamspaces, domain verification, and premium connections. Business is listed at $20 per seat/month on the pricing page. Check which billing control shows that price. The control prints “Save up to 20% with yearly.”

Signs the team has outgrown Plus
Stay on Plus when 30 days of history, a Limited Trial of Notion Agent, custom forms without conditional logic, basic connections, unlimited blocks, unlimited file uploads, unlimited charts, unlimited guests, five notion.site domains, custom database automations, and priority support cover the work. Business earns the step when one of these is true on the 2026-10-17 read.
- You need a page version older than 30 days. Business is 90 days. Unlimited is the next column.
- Someone has to verify a page, or the workspace needs a private teamspace, advanced teamspace permissions, or granular database permissions. Those cells are empty on Plus and a check mark on Business.
- Notion Agent, Meeting notes, or Research mode has to pass the Limited Trial. Business prints a check mark. Enterprise Search is empty on Plus and a check mark on Business. The Business card puts a Beta mark on Enterprise Search. The Research mode row name also prints a Beta mark. A trial length: —.

- Custom Agents or Workers are the job. Plus is empty. Business prints Requires Notion credits.
- The workspace export has to include PDF. Plus is empty on “Export entire workspace as PDF.” HTML, Markdown, and CSV export is already a check mark on Plus.
- You need SAML SSO, premium connections, or domain verification. Plus names basic connections and does not name domain verification. Business names SAML SSO, premium connections, and domain verification. Domain Management on the grid is empty on both. That row is the next column.
- Page analytics has to list editors, not only viewers. The FAQ calls that Advanced page analytics on the Business plan, and Basic page analytics on Plus. Workspace analytics is the Enterprise sentence.
A second member is still a fee. Unlimited guests is already on Plus. Custom database automations are already on Plus. The Business cell says “Same as plus.” The four-plan map is Notion pricing explained. The step under this one is Notion Free vs Plus.

What does Business unlock?
The Business card says everything in Plus, and Notion Agent, AI Meeting Notes, Enterprise Search with a Beta mark, SAML SSO, granular database permissions, verify any page, private teamspaces, domain verification, and premium connections. Business is $20 per seat/month. The grid moves page history to 90 days, forms to Custom + conditional logic, and the Limited Trial AI rows to a check mark. Custom Agents and Workers print Requires Notion credits.
When has a team outgrown Plus?
When you need a page version older than 30 days, and 90 days is enough. When someone has to verify a page, open a private teamspace, or set granular database permissions. When Notion Agent, Meeting notes, or Research mode has to pass the Limited Trial, or when Enterprise Search is the job. When a form needs conditional logic, or the workspace needs dashboards, 1-way database syncs, or a PDF export of the whole workspace. When SAML SSO, premium connections, domain verification, or advanced page analytics is the requirement. A second member is still a paid seat. Unlimited page history and zero data retention are the next column.
What do Notion Plus and Business cost?
On the Notion pricing page, Plus is $10 per seat/month and Business is $20 per seat/month. Check which billing control shows each price before you pick a cycle. The currency control said Price in USD. The control label is “Save up to 20% with yearly.”
Which prices are not on this page?
Free and Enterprise prices, the price under each billing control, credit packs, Workers, custom domains, prorated seats, and a bill for several members are on the Notion pricing page, not here. Does Business make the next member free?
No. The pricing FAQ says a paid plan charges a fee per member. A paid seat is a license for one member. Adding a member mid-cycle creates a prorated charge when no paid seat is open. Upgrading the plan charges the account immediately, and the amount due is reduced by the percentage of the billing cycle left. This page does not print that prorated dollar. Guests stay free of charge. Plus and Business both print Unlimited guests.
