What this page tells you. When Pro is enough, and when Teams earns the step: more than one team, team roles, and the printed file and API limits. The annual credit package is already on Pro. A per-team credit cap is printed for Enterprise, not as a Pro versus Teams cell. This page shows dated plan limits from Make’s pricing page and Help Center, accessed 2026-10-02. It quotes the Pro and Teams listed prices from the pricing page, last re-read on 2026-10-29. Verify before buy. It does not add new scores.

This page vs the other Make reads
Make Core vs Pro is the step under this one: file size, API rate, and the annual credit package between Core and Pro. This page starts after you are already looking at Pro.
When Make is the right pick is whether Make is the product. This page starts after that yes.
Make credits and operations is the two-word lexicon. This page does not reprint what a credit counts.
When free isn’t enough is Free versus the first paid plan. This page does not reprint the free-plan matrix.
When you hit the meter is the ceiling. This page names that extra-credit expiry matches on Pro and Teams, then stops.
Tasks vs credits vs executions is the three-tool dictionary. This page does not reprint Zapier tasks or n8n executions.
This page is the Pro vs Teams step. Org and roles. Limits that change. Limits that match, including the credit package. The prices quoted here are the listed prices on the Make pricing page.
What each card says

When Pro is enough
These cells match. Stepping up does not change them. Read 2026-10-02.
Swipe sideways on a narrow screen. Not a scored table.
| Limit | Pro and Teams | Where it is printed |
|---|---|---|
| Custom variables | On both cards, and a check on both columns | The Pro card lists custom variables. The Teams card does not add a second line. Help Center: custom variables are available on Pro, Teams, and Enterprise. |
| Full-text execution log search | On the Pro card, and a check on both columns | Same card line as custom variables. Teams does not print an extra log-search line. |
| Credits on an annual subscription | An annual package of credits | Comparison row “Credits usage flexibility with yearly billing” is a check on Pro and on Teams. Help Center: only Pro and Teams have an annual package. Core stays monthly. Stepping from Pro to Teams does not change that package. |
| Unlimited users | Check on Pro and on Teams | Row text: share access with users in your organization to collaborate on workflows. A different seat count was not printed: —. |
| Data transfer cell | 5GB | The row says usage scales: 5 GB of data transfers per 10,000 monthly credits. |
| Execution log storage | 30 days | The Pro and Teams cells print the same figure. |
Custom variables: Make — variables. Annual package: Make — monthly and annual subscriptions. Accessed 2026-10-02.
When Teams earns the step
Read a row only where the pricing card or the Help Center printed a difference. A blank on the 2026-10-02 read stays —.

| Limit | Pro | Teams | Where it is printed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Teams and team roles | Not on the Pro card | On the Teams card | Teams card line under “Everything in Pro, plus.” Help Center: on a plan lower than Teams, you can only have one team, and you cannot manage roles in that team. |
| Maximum file size | 250 MB | 500 MB | Comparison table, row labeled in MB. Free’s cell on that row was 5. Core’s cell was 100. This page does not walk Core. |
| Make API, calls per minute | 120 | 240 | Comparison table, “rate call limit/minute,” under access to 300+ Make API endpoints. |
| Priority scenario execution | High | Priority | The table prints those two words. It does not print a speed number. A faster-by figure: —. |
| Create and share scenario templates | Not on the Pro card | On the Teams card | The Teams card lists this under “Everything in Pro, plus.” Help Center, same access date, says templates are available on all Make plans and anyone can create and share them. This page quotes both. It does not pick one. |
If you're on a plan lower than the Teams pricing plan, you can only have one team in your organization and you can't manage roles within that one team.
Templates are available on all Make plans. Anyone can create and share scenario templates.
Roles the Help Center names
These are the team roles on Make — teams, accessed 2026-10-02. They matter once the plan lets you manage roles. Below Teams, the same page says you cannot. Owners and admins of a team’s parent organization always have Team Admin permissions.
Swipe sideways on a narrow screen. Not a scored table.
| Role | What that page says |
|---|---|
| Team Admin | Full access to team resources and settings, including member management, audit logs, custom functions, and team deletion. |
| Team Member | Full access to team-owned resources, including custom functions. Cannot manage members, team settings, team audit logs, or delete the team. |
| Team Operator | Read-only access to general team resources. Can activate, deactivate, and schedule scenarios. |
| Team Monitoring | Read-only access to selected team information, scenarios, execution logs, templates, and usage. Cannot edit resources or operate scenarios. |
| Team Restricted Member | Deprecated legacy role. The Help Center says not to use it for new assignments. |
| Team Guest | Can view, authorize, decline, revoke, or delete credential requests addressed to that user. No general access to team resources. |
The credit pool is not the step
With the Core plan, you always have monthly allocated credits, even if you have an annual subscription. Only Pro and Teams plans have an annual package of credits.
Extra credits are treated exactly the same as pre-purchased credits and expire after one month (for monthly subscription) or at the end of one year (for annual subscription in Pro and Teams plan).
The extra-credits page adds a 25% additional cost on extra credits, whether you buy them by hand or turn on auto-purchasing. It also says Core with annual billing still resets regular credits monthly, and extra credits on that Core case expire at each monthly reset. That Core case is not this page. See Make Core vs Pro.
The teams page says Enterprise customers can let a new team use any credits in the organization, or set a maximum number of credits that team can use. If the team hits that limit, its scenarios pause. That sentence is labeled Enterprise. A Pro versus Teams per-team credit cap on the 2026-10-02 read: —. The Teams versus Enterprise step is on Make Teams vs Enterprise. The ceiling when credits run out is on When you hit the meter.
Extra credits: Make — extra credits. Accessed 2026-10-02.

FAQ
When is Pro enough?
Stay on Pro when the work fits one team and you do not need to manage roles inside it. On the pricing page accessed 2026-10-02, Pro already lists priority scenario execution, custom variables, and full-text execution log search. The comparison table checks custom variables, full-text log search, unlimited users, and yearly credit flexibility on both Pro and Teams. Help Center says custom variables are on Pro, Teams, and Enterprise, and that only Pro and Teams have an annual package of credits. Those matches are not a reason to step up.
When does Teams earn the upgrade?
Teams earns the step when you need more than one team, or you need to manage roles in the team. Help Center, accessed 2026-10-02: on a plan lower than Teams, you can only have one team, and you cannot manage roles in that team. The Teams card says everything in Pro, plus teams and team roles, and create and share scenario templates. The comparison table also prints a 500 MB file cap on Teams and 250 MB on Pro, and 240 Make API calls per minute on Teams versus 120 on Pro. Priority prints as Priority under Teams and High under Pro. The table does not print a speed number.
Do Pro and Teams include a different credit pool?
Not on the pages read 2026-10-02. Both cards sit on a credits-per-month control. Help Center says only Pro and Teams have an annual package of credits, so that package is already on Pro. The pricing FAQ says extra credits expire after one month on a monthly subscription, or at the end of one year for an annual subscription on Pro and Teams. A per-team credit cap is printed for Enterprise customers, not as a Pro versus Teams cell.
Is the difference a seat count?
A different seat count was not printed. The comparison row “Unlimited users” is a check on Pro and on Teams. The row text says you can share access with users in your organization. The printed org difference is teams and roles: one team and no role management below Teams, versus teams and team roles on the Teams card.
What do the two template sentences say?
The Teams card, accessed 2026-10-02, lists “Create and share scenario templates” under “Everything in Pro, plus.” The Help Center templates page, same access date, says templates are available on all Make plans and anyone can create and share scenario templates. This page quotes both. It does not turn the card line into a claim that Pro cannot use a template.
What do Make Pro and Teams cost?
The Make pricing page lists Pro at $21/mo and Teams at $38/mo, last re-read on 2026-10-29. The billing cycle and credit step are on that page. The annual control also prints “Save 15% or more.”
Does this guide change the Make vs n8n vs Zapier scores?
