This page vs the other Make reads

When Make is the right pick is whether Make is the product. This page starts after that yes.

Make credits and operations is the two-word lexicon. This page does not reprint what a credit counts.

When free isn’t enough is Free versus the first paid plan. Core is that first paid plan. This page does not reprint the free-plan matrix.

When you hit the meter is the ceiling. This page names that extra-credit rules differ by plan, then stops.

Tasks vs credits vs executions is the three-tool dictionary. This page does not reprint Zapier tasks or n8n executions.

This page is the Core vs Pro step. Limits that change. Limits that match. How annual credits are packaged. The prices quoted here are the listed prices on the Make pricing page.

Stepping up is not a change to these cells. They are on the same pricing table, accessed 2026-10-01.

The pricing FAQ still heads usage allowance with “per 10k operations licensed per month” beside “for every 10,000 credits.” What those two words count is on Make credits and operations.

If credits run out, the same FAQ says scenarios will not continue until credits are added. Extra-credit auto-purchasing of 10,000 credits is listed for Core, Pro, and Teams. The cross-tool ceiling is on When you hit the meter.

Annual credits are the packaging difference

With the Core plan, you always have monthly allocated credits, even if you have an annual subscription. Only Pro and Teams plans have an annual package of credits.

The extra-credits page adds the Core case: on annual billing, regular credits reset monthly, and extra credits you purchase expire at each monthly reset. The pricing FAQ says extra credits expire at the end of one year for an annual subscription on Pro and Teams. That is a packaging difference. The listed prices are in the table above.

Teams is still on the pricing page

Teams is still a public column, accessed 2026-10-01. Its card says everything in Pro, plus teams and team roles, and create and share scenario templates. The comparison table prints Priority for scenario execution, a 500 MB file cap, and 240 Make API calls per minute. The Teams listed price is on Make Pro vs Teams. Help Center includes Teams with Pro on the annual credit package.

This page does not walk Teams feature by feature. If the next question is Pro or Teams, see Make Pro vs Teams. If it is Teams or a sales conversation, see Make Teams vs Enterprise. Enterprise is also on the pricing page. It is not this step.

FAQ

What does Pro add that the Core card does not list?

Make’s pricing page, accessed 2026-10-01, prints Pro as “Everything in Core, plus: priority scenario execution, custom variables, and full-text execution log search.” The comparison table prints priority as High under Pro and leaves Core’s priority cell blank. It also prints a 250 MB file cap on Pro and 100 MB on Core, and 120 Make API calls per minute on Pro versus 60 on Core. Check-mark cells in that table did not come through as text on this read.

Do Core and Pro include a different number of credits?

The pricing page does not print one fixed credit total for Core and another for Pro. It asks how many credits per month. The difference it does print is how an annual subscription packages those credits. Help Center, accessed 2026-10-01: Core still allocates credits monthly even on an annual subscription. Only Pro and Teams have an annual package of credits.

What happens to extra credits on Core versus Pro?

Make’s extra-credits help says that on Core with annual billing, regular credits reset monthly and extra credits expire at each monthly reset. The pricing FAQ says extra credits expire after one month on a monthly subscription, or at the end of one year for an annual subscription on Pro and Teams. Auto-purchasing of 10,000 credits is listed for Core, Pro, and Teams.

What stays the same if you stay on Core?

On the comparison table, Core and Pro both print unlimited active scenarios, a 1-minute minimum interval, a 40-minute maximum run, a 5GB data-transfer cell, 30-day execution logs, Make Code at 2 credits per 1 second, and the same support line: technical support from our expert team. The data-transfer row also says allowance scales at 5 GB per 10,000 monthly credits. Those matches are not a reason to step up.

Is Teams still a public plan?

Yes. On the pricing page accessed 2026-10-01, Teams is still a column. Its card says everything in Pro, plus teams and team roles, and create and share scenario templates. The table prints Priority (not High) for scenario execution, a 500 MB file cap, and 240 Make API calls per minute. The annual credit package in Help Center includes Teams with Pro. This page does not walk Teams feature by feature. The Pro versus Teams step is on Make Pro vs Teams.

What do Make Core and Pro cost?

The Make pricing page lists Core at $12/mo and Pro at $21/mo, last re-read on 2026-10-29. The billing cycle and credit step are on that page. The annual control also prints “Save 15% or more.”

Does this guide change the Make vs n8n vs Zapier scores?

No. Totals are not published yet.
